So.. literally a week today I went to the Red Hot Chili Peppers' concert!!
It was nothing but amazing, and possibly one of the best nights of my life.
Row 14, dead centre stage, and surrounded with nothing but marijuana smoke and headbangers.
What upsets me the most is that I am nowhere near as talented as them, but so inspired to be at the same time. Hopefully I will be getting an electric guitar for Christmas so I can work on my Josh skills!

a record store which is basically my new home considering it's the best place on earth. THEY HAVE JIMI HENDRIX MUGS!!!!

a coffee shop thats super cool, with all the workers that are in their 20's and living life like carpe diem. tattoos, piercings, cool outfits... so sick.

and a bookstore..it's big, and legendary throughout my town. hallah @ me, i can read all the 50 shades i want.

im so nervous, yet so excited. i need major cash flow, but what do i do if they all say no? I just really want the opportunity..i have no job experience, i've only been a counsellor-in-training this past summer. i did really well, but still!

Okay so.. I know it's wrong to be in love with the deceased, but as I was having a bottle of red last night, I came across the new love of my life.. Elvis Presley. He was just so dreamy in 'Jailhouse Rock' and just his whole badass persona is sewww dreamy. What got me was when he said "I ain't got tactics honey, it's just the beast in me." If anybody ever said that to me after kissing me as passionately as he did to Peggy, fuck it I'm in.

Anyways, I thought I would share how absolutely sabrosa this chocolate buffet I came across at the Sofitel Metropole in Hanoi, Vietnam:

My period seriously could not have come at a more appropriate time, considering my surroundings. It was like whatever God is out there listened to my prayers- Hot Belgian Milk Chocolate, Raspberry Chocolate Mousse, and Rum Chocolates... my mouth is tingling just at the thought of it. So having Depp's movie Chocolat, and a whole fucking chocolate buffet at your fingertips while pmsing did make my week so much easier. J'adore chocolat!

well hello there random viewers!
my name is rose sylvia, and this is my brand spankin' new blog.
i'm currently sitting in a lounge at the hong kong international airport awaiting for the arrival of my plane so i can finally head home to my dear and beloved home, Canada. Frankly, i'm super stoked to be going home, seeing as that i have been away for almost a month, and i miss my baby kitten Mylo SO very much.

anyways, i'm proud to announce to a grand total of nobody viewing this, that my Spring/Summer 2013 collection has been ordered!!! (doing a school project, and it involves learning a new skill...i'm designing clothes :D had to go to Vietnam to talk with manufacturer etc) so, as excited as that is, i still have no name for my label. my original thought was inspired by my mother, Silver Rose.. but it reminds me too much of that godawful series, 'Twilight.' Vampire inspired label to be the next big hit? Thanks, but no thanks. I'm going to have to side with Team Bullshit for that one. anywho, we'll just wait until October until I make a final decision!
